A Rock Collection!!!
Today I went on a field trip I got some free rocks. When we got back to school they gave me a bag of rocks! And we got out early the same day! But that's not the best part at the field trip I got Fools Gold!!! And that's how I got my rock collection.
Good morning my dear: This is my first attempt at Blogging so I hope everything goes according to plan. It is Saturday and I think I see a bit of spring in the air. If you look at the trees you can see a little green cast in the limbs. The clouds are higher on the mountain now and your great, great Grandfather Larsen used to say that when the clouds move up higher on the mountain that means rain not snow and hopefully that means spring. I think we shall have to plan some exciting events for spring and summer. I hope you are reading lots of good books. Your Grandfather Larsen also used to say that all the great knowledge in the world can be found between the covers of good books. You need to write as well. He also said the ability to communicate all that knowledge is in what we do, how we speak and most importantly what we write. Words last forever so be sure to write veraciously. In the event you have not guessed the WORD OF DAY is veracious. Look it up and tell me what it means. Time for this old man to go. I love you dear: Grumpy
Hi Abby When I was your age I had a rock collection too. I had all kinds of rocks...from crystrals to sandstone. I have these neat rocks that are perfectly round. If you want maybe I could see if I still have them so I could show you. Love you Kris
Hi Dear, I have some rocks that belonged to Bob that I will find and give to you. When Bob was in Jr High School he did a Science Fair project on rocks so he has somre really neat ones. I think they are in the shed, so we can go look for them--O.K. Love ya lots---nona
